Your devices
What stays on your devices.
Pixie stores sign-in details in Apple's Keychain. Downloads, cached artwork, and playback diagnostics are stored on the device that creates or saves them.
Apple services
What syncs through iCloud.
Supported settings, custom Sound Profiles, DSP presets, and imported visualizer presets can sync through your iCloud account on compatible Apple devices. Downloads, caches, and current playback aren't included.
Plex and your server
What goes to Plex.
Pixie contacts Plex to sign in, browse your library, play or download media, load artwork and lyrics, sync supported progress, bookmarks, and ratings, and control remote players.
Your Plex account and server use are governed by Plex's terms and privacy practices.
Read the Plex privacy policyLyrics lookup
What goes to LRCLIB.
When you open lyrics and your media server has none, Pixie can look them up through LRCLIB. A lookup sends the track title, artist, album, and duration. Audio files and server credentials aren't sent. Lyrics may be cached on your device to avoid repeat requests.
Diagnostics and support
Diagnostics stay with you.
Pixie includes no analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs from WrightWorks Studios. Playback diagnostics are optional and stay on your device unless you choose to share a report.
