Adjust the display and controls
- Open Settings → Display.
- Choose a playback-control style and rating style.
- Set the artwork and lyrics options.
Manage accounts and servers
- Open Settings → Accounts and choose an account.
- Enable the servers whose libraries you want available.
- Open Settings → Libraries to enable or customize individual libraries.
Check what syncs
Display preferences and library settings can sync through iCloud. Each device keeps its own selected library.
- Turn on Sync with Phone for a library to use the settings shared by your iPhone.
- Settings sync does not copy downloads, caches, or the current queue.
- Book progress, ratings, and bookmarks sync back to Plex separately.
Lock Settings
- Open Settings and choose Lock Settings at the bottom.
- Follow the prompts to set a PIN and record the recovery code somewhere safe.
- Complete setup to lock Settings. Unlock it when you need to make changes.
What works while Settings is locked
You can still play music, adjust volume, edit the queue, rate items, browse, search, and switch enabled libraries. Unlock Settings to change its options.
Settings Lock protects Pixie’s settings. It does not replace parental controls or lock the device to Pixie.
Manage cache storage
Open Settings → Caching to view cache options or clear cached data. Pixie caches data for browsing and playback; these files are separate from Downloads.
Remove saved audio from Downloads. Check the confirmation before clearing storage.
