What you need
Pixie plays music and audiobooks from Plex. You need a Plex account with access to a server and a music library.
- The Apple Watch app requires watchOS 10 or later.
- Your server needs to be reachable for browsing online, streaming, and new downloads.
- Plex account permissions and server settings determine which libraries and download options you can use.
Connect Plex
- Open Pixie on your Watch and follow its sign-in instructions. You can sign in directly without an iPhone.
- Complete the Plex sign-in or linking instructions shown on screen.
- Open the account to see its servers. Enable the servers you want to use.
- Open Settings → Libraries and enable the libraries you want.
Choose a library
- Use the library selector to choose an enabled library.
- Select a music or audiobook library.
- Open an album, playlist, or book and choose Play.
Download for offline playback
- Open the item’s menu and choose the download option. If needed, swipe its list row to reveal the menu.
- Open Downloads and wait for the item to finish.
- Open the completed item from Downloads and check that it plays.
