Choose an audio output
- Open the output/player picker from Now Playing.
- Audio Output shows the current output. Change it in watchOS Control Center. If no output is connected, the system picker may appear when you start playback.
Control a remote player
- Open the player picker and look under Remote Players.
- Choose an available player and wait for the connection or transfer to be confirmed.
- Use the controls that player supports. Queue, position, and volume controls may differ from playback on this device.
Return to this device
Choose the local device in the player picker. Check that the Watch has an audio output.
If the transfer fails, check the error before retrying. Changing speakers does not necessarily change the selected player.
Which sound settings apply?
The Watch has its own playback and quality controls. It does not use iPhone or iPad Sound Profiles.
