Listen to audiobooks

Set up an audiobook library#

1. Open Settings → Libraries, choose the library, and set its kind to Audiobooks if needed.
2. In Plex, enable Store Track Progress under that library’s Advanced settings.
3. Open the library in Pixie to browse books and authors or resume from Continue Listening.

Continue or start over#

Choose a book from Continue Listening or choose Play to resume from its saved position. Choose Start Over to play from the beginning.

Selecting a chapter, part, or bookmark jumps to that point. Completed books appear separately from unfinished books.

Adjust speed and move through a book#

1. Open the book in Now Playing.
2. Open the speed control and choose a playback speed.
3. Use the backward and forward buttons to skip a short interval. Open chapters or parts to jump to a section.

Save a bookmark#

1. Open the bookmark controls in Now Playing and add a bookmark at the current position.
2. Name the bookmark.
3. Select the bookmark to return to that position. Use its menu to rename or delete it.

Set a sleep timer#

1. Open the sleep timer in Now Playing.
2. Choose a duration.
3. Return to the timer to change it or turn it off.

Choose between saved positions#

After offline listening, your saved position may differ from the one on Plex. When Pixie asks where to resume, compare the positions and choose one, or choose Start Over.
